Jasper

On April 23,2011 my friend Beth and I took a trip to Shreveport where we collected our newest member to Wayde and I's family. His name is Jasper, he is a border collie mixed with a golden retriever. The place where we got him from rescued him from a farmer that was going to drown him and his siblings simply because he did not want them. He has been a great blessing and addition to our family. 


Jasper soon learned that the couch is a fun place to play. He has a white stripe down his left ear that is my favorite spot he has. He appears to be wearing a tux to all occasions, however one sleeve has been ripped off. It is because Jasper is an international spy and he lost the other sleeve in a fight with a ninja. Shhh do not tell anyone. 

 This in one of the most recent pictures I have of Jasper. He will be one year old on January 7th 2012. We are looking forward to his first Christmas, I am sure Santa will bring him several new toys and a dog bed. He has brought so much joy to our home.

My first Blog

  Wednesday November 10,2011 Wayde got in his first motorcycle accident. It was not anything to be worried about really, his bike is a little scratched up and so is his helmet. His injuries include a class one concussion and a cracked sixth rib. Today he had a fuzzy headache all day, I am hoping after he sleeps he will feel better. This was not our first motor vehicle accident together, but it was the first involving Wayde on a motorcycle. I thank God that this accident was so minor. Wayde is very accident prone so of course that means he wants to do everything dangerous imaginable. From motorcycles to guns he is into it all. Have to say it is one of the reasons I fell in love with him. He has a love for life I do not think I can ever fully understand. He is one of those live and ask questions later kind of person. He is always up for an adventure, and will try most anything at least once (except vegetables of course). He will most likely be the topic for most of my blogs.
